Highland Park Distillery is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, with a history of over 200 years. Located in the Orkney Islands at 59 degrees north latitude, it is also the world’s most northerly distillery, with constant cold temperatures year round, and is a unique oracle for whisky breeding. Highland Knight not only has the pure water from Clandestine, Orkney’s unique peat is the key to understanding and tasting Highland Park whisky.
Highland Park whisky has long been respected by whisky lovers around the world because of the spirit of the distillery, which pays attention to detail at all costs – insisting on the time-consuming and laborious hand-turned malt, insisting on the use of rare peat into the natural heather honey aroma, insisting on the use of more expensive sherry oak barrels and insisting on the modulation of the vintage and then let the spirit back into the barrels. The barrels are used for the wine’s quality. The taste is harmonious as the wine is made in sherry barrels, with a clear and dazzling golden color, and aromas of heather honey with fresh floral notes and mild peat.
