Another of the Ballantine’s trio of malts, this Glentauchers sherry butt was finished in a 2nd fill Oloroso sherry butt (ex-Glenallachie) for 21 months.

Colour: Shining ochre.
Nose: Butterscotch, peanut, bramble and raisin.
Palate: Treacle toffee, black cherry and allspice.
Finish: Mild tobacco drifts over raspberry and blackcurrant.
